I won with Golshi, Scarlet, and Vodka with this. 1. Choose 4 speeds, doesn't matter the rarity, just 4 speeds and 2 wits. 2. Choose legacies with speed if you can, if not, stamina and wits are ok. 3. Before the maiden derby, try to raise friendship as fast as possible, don't focus on a specific stat yet. Just upgrade the friendship. If there's 3 umas and it's guts, choose it. Lucky if it's 3-4 Umas on speed. The goal is to reach orange bar to get the friendship bonus since it gives bonus stats, and it's a massive boost. 4. Upgrade skills specific to the Uma, no track related, just to the Uma and her most favorable position. Example, Scarlet goes well being a pace chase or a front runner. You will lose some races, but not the important ones, as long as you got enough skills to compensate whatever your Uma's lacking. Note: Never EVER disregard Wit no matter what people say. NEVER.

One thing I have noticed is that the Power stat is specifically for pushing past girls in races. If your girl has low power, she can get boxed in and be unable to perform at her full speed. So power is important but only slightly. Still agree, speed and stamina is most crucial

Carrot. Thanks for the guide! I already started my career with Golshi before watching this video.. I upgraded all the stats equally instead of prioritizing speed and stamina. Maybe that's why I lost in the last race. Thankfully, I think I'm not that far yet since I'm still in Junior year.

Was close to winning. Got to the UMA Semi-Finals with Rudolph on basically a wing and a prayer. Have not been able to advance further since then. Basically just carrot farming through each character. I’ve also got some close loses saying that my Uma didn’t have enough guts to hit the finish line.
