They played this at my dad's funeral 5 years ago. I was 13 at the time, so I was handling it quite poorly. At that time I disliked that they claimed it as my dad's favorite song because it wasn't his favorite song. His favorite song was Let It Be by The Beatles. Now that I'm a little older, I understand why they chose to play this song. It fits his personality. He was a man who struggled badly and lost a lot.. but he always hoped for a brighter future. Now he's somewhere over the rainbow, and all his problems are behind him. May he rest in peace.

Im sick rn. And i know my end is coming. Listening to this song makes me feel so much gratitude fir the life i walked. I only wish when Im gone, the people I love will think of me and have smiles on the faces. Hi everyone, thank u for all d kind words. I doing well, and saving for my medications. I'm still fighting for this illness (hyperthyroidism) w/c most may not consider as critical, but to me, its devastating. I believe I can survive this. Thank u so much for your well wishes. When my daughter was born. I used to play this song almost every single night while I danced with her in my arms. Now she’s 12 years old and really doesn’t have time for me. I got a lump in my throat just now listening to this song and remembering how little she was. Our time with our kids is short.. cherish every second of it before it’s gone.
