@CatherineMcClain

I really love when people add their own cultural twist to metal or rock. I feel like I am going on a world tour from the comfort of my own home.

@thehedgehag

The fierceness of the Māori and their beautiful language is PERFECT for metal.

@Kevin-bw5km

My history teacher showed us this after he heard us blasting metal
Best teacher ever

@Snowyboii

maori is unironically one of the most metal sounding languages lol.. this band is sooo fun, and theyre really good.. i love it

@Physhi

You know you rule when you're saving a native tongue, turning it into metal.

@ManCalledMegz

When you don't understand a word but know you've been spoken to. Powerful stuff.

@fenrirwulfheart8396

If there’s one culture that needs to be immortalized by Metal, it is the Maori.
This is badass

@hamueramusic

As a Māori person myself I am so proud that these guys are bringing our native language and history to everybody all around the world because Māori people were treated like shit for a very long time. Mad respect for these guys. Peace and Love <3

@davidgraham2054

I'm not Maori but as a Iroquois the history of this song reverberates with my me as well when our 3 WarChiefs visited England... They also traded us muskets for pelts which we used to deadly effect against our enemies and the French... Dope track much respect, love for my fellow tribal people keep your heads up for the coming generations

@krakenmckraken9128

Maori, Norse, Mongolian, and anything similar absolutely kills it in metal.

@Ml-mk6ep

I'm a kiwi and these guys are pretty much our Amon Amarth

@xeoxed

I teach world history here in the US. I do a pretty lengthy unit on Imperialism around the world. This year i'm pulling the trigger and going to feature Alien Weaponry heavily in the unit. Given the recent issues in NZ, and the running theme in a lot of their music, I think it would be pretty awesome!

@alessandrobonucchi8137

I'm Italian and obviously I don't understand the Maori language. It's nice to see young musicians have respect for their origins and carry them forward through music

@joshbutler822

metal doesn't care about race/culture/language; it simply is or isn't. this is.

@nawazshanewaz4648

I cannot understand a single word, but this song gets me all pumped up... love from nepal 🇳🇵

@MsSteelphoenix

I'm a Pakeha, but I'm so happy to see these guys representing Aotearoa and their Maori heritage. The Maori culture is rich and beautiful and should be represented more!
...as a metalhead, this is just great music!

@GenericWhiteMan00

Metal, Haka, native language.....words cannot properly express this epicness

@spasticlabrat

This is one of the coolest things I've ever heard. Why has it taken so long for someone to realize that metal and haka go together like nothing else!

@Nukelover

Never thought I'd hear Maori metal. That was pretty badass.

@robert3622

I'm a Scotch/Danish American. I appreciate anything done in the Old Tongue. Gaukic/Maori/Welsh/Insert here, it doesn't matter. A sound is a sound.

Good on your band for preserving.
