After 2 implants, I got home & lay down for a sleep - when I woke up I must have stood up too quickly and fainted almost immediately. I came round to find I split my bottom lip and had carpet burns up the middle of my face. Thankfully the implants were unaffected but it was down to luck that I didn’t land on either one! Just a warning to be careful when moving around post surgery. I had never fainted before, so it came as a surprise to me that this could be something to watch out for.

@jackdowner7086

getting an implant tomorrow morning, thanks for the helpful info, bit nervous but this gave me confidence.

@Infamousx12

I had this surgery yesterday. It was a same day implant + bone grafting. My case was little complex since i had an infection in the area that had the bone a little bit compromised. But in the end the doctor manage to clear the infection and put the implant without many problems. Almost 48hrs have passed and no pain or swollen gums. Just follow the do’s and dont’s for the recovery period, drink your pills and everything will be ok 🙏.

@pauldavies917

Had 4 implants all while awake
And had a bone graft
Only had two painkillers out of a full pack
A bit of discomfort but no real bad pain
No hammer and chisel used

@goettling

Thank you for all the detailed info. I had a bone graft implant done last year and scheduled for another this August. Got the same instructions from my surgeon and it's good to get this confirmed. I might add proper oral hygiene is crucial going forward for ongoing success.

@adamcarmichael3685

Great video i just had 3 implants done this morning i was spitting out the blood until i watched this video….on anti-biotics and nurofen feeling good

@reezyrepairs4123

Just got this done today

@DELACREMEDELAthegod

I had a pice a vanilla
 cheesecake ready for my first soft meal. I’m devouring it now!❤️💯

@YG-jk4jz

Finished 2 implants today in India.
The doctor is next to God, no pain, no bp or HR rise or thumping as I have Tachycardia most of the times.

During the surgery doc told me to be calm that's all, he asked me to leave the stress to him 😂

@eiredublin

I had a double sinus lift, bone grafting, two wisdom teeth removed, 3 root canals, and 7 implants. All done in a 6 hour period. I looked like the elephant man for two days after. Happily the swelling is going down my cheeks are still pretty bruised. Yup lotta fun 😂

@terrywhite5455

Excellent advice! I got the exact same explanation from my endodontist after root resection. I followed instructions and healing was perfect.

@tamaralund

I had All on 4 in Friday (2021) and went back to work (truck driver) on Monday. Wouldn't recommend this but i needed to make money!! Lol

@denathomas9395

Had my implant done on 10/10/2023, some bleeding for a few hours afterward. I had slight discomfort and an 800 MG ibuprofen took care of that. I cannot sleep flat but over all the procedure was not bad. Did not use sedation or Laughing gas

@Alex-ej4wm

Wish I had seen this before I ate while I was still numb. Have 2 big gashes in my cheek from chewing now. The ironic thing is that the implant doesn't hurt at all. Go figure🤷‍♂️

@TuubiLeijona

A week ago I got Straumann Roxolid implants on places 25,26 and 46. Everything went smoothly and it took only 90 min. In the same day I took two tablets of paracetamol. Virtually no bleeding. In the morning all the pain was gone. They are healing like grazy. I took profylaksia, but in this case it was propably unnecessary?
Afterwards I have learned that Roxolid is perhaps the best material for osseointegration. Also I have learned that smaller Roxolid implants can be used because of their superior strenght.
The doctor was skillfull and had an experience of 3000 implants. He prefers Roxolid implants in his practice.
He is young and have at least 25 years of professional career ahead.
I am very happy with this investment.

@Danreael

Thank you🙏🏽❤️ I just got surgery yesterday

@TheFiown

I had two sinus lifts after four really difficult extractions then 7 implants yesterday, today zero pain and almost no swelling.

I’m 34 and I’ve only had one tooth that has caused me any problems in my life. Cracked it, got a root canal. Two years later, the crown and screw literally fell out of my face. I went to an oral surgeon and got what was left of my destroyed tooth pulled. When they pulled it, they gave me a bone graft. I’m not sure if anybody is familiar with this process, but the oral surgeon disappeared out of the room and walked back in with a hammer and about an 8” chisel and said, “Now I’m gunna need you to relax.” Luckily I was on Mars, sucking down nitrous like a fiend. But he literally gave me a good 20 hammer blows to the jawbone. Obviously I was numbed up, but the pressure was immense. Then he took this tool with a small, smooth round ball at the end and he literally used his body weight to lean the graft against my jaw. Again, I thought my jawbone was going to snap. I could feel it bending. Lol. Absolutely dreadful experience. It ended up costing thousands upon thousands of dollars, and 3 months after the end of a 2+ year process, I go for a follow up and the oral surgeon takes a CAT scan and shows me that my dentist never screwed the crown far enough into the implant. Wtf!! The dentist grinded the crown down a ways, too. I wondered because my bite had changed somewhat. So the other day I go back to the dentist and he goes, “Oh, that’s too bad. You’re gunna have to buy a new crown.” I was like, “Uhh, you mean you’re going to have to buy me a new crown? I’m almost $10,000 deep with this ONE TOOTH!” I paid him over $2000 for the root canal and crown that failed in 2 years and I paid him well over $1500 for impressions and this implant crown that he failed to properly secure. The oral surgeon visits and procedures cost me $7000. Dentist is a real nice guy, but this entire process has been a mental and financial NIGHTMARE.

@Ez-kt5vr

Excellent, well done video. Concise and to the point. 👍

@marygracebeyer2245
