@8_scarlett

Tokyo revengers is really chaotic but its still enjoyable and entertaining. Its like watching a anime delinquent soap opera😂😂

@mmem4264

I do wonder if the author was convinced to extend the manga thanks to how popular it became which resulted in the messy final arc. No clue if that's true or not but it wouldn't be the first time it's happened. I personally didn't like the ending, not even for how it ended but for making TH and MS meet in childhood and work together to change the future. I hated that change, and it ruined the relationships between the cast that we got to know during the previous arcs. At least for me. I found myself really questioning would these pple still be good friends by the end in this scenario, would HT even still get together with TH, if the author actually explored it instead of montaging it? The more I think about it the more it bothers me lol.

@KanakoSelling

The crying blue ogre is 100 times stronger than me!! 🗣🔥🔥

@Keiiran

I personally love tokyo revengers but it couldve been better if the ending wasnt rushed. I am so hyped for s4 tho

@古川諒海

I am glad to know that there are still people who defend the ending (to an extent); for me, the ending is not perfect, it definitely could've been better, but I don't think it's the worst thing in the world. I still love the series as a whole even with its flaws, and as for Kisaki, despite him being a very irredeemable character, it does make sense to "save" him or rather by recruiting him into the team early before he goes into his evil arc to prevent a lot of the things he would do originally, but given Takemichi does mention that he feels he could've been friends with Kisaki under different circumstances, I do like they do actually become pretty good friends in the final timeline. Though I definitely understand why people would be upset

@r.u.phlegmatic

I just like it for what it is. many said that windbreaker is better than Tokyo Revengers but I dont buy and it just made want to read the series even more

@Shxgvn_

I remember getting into the anime when the hype for it was at its all time high and once season 1 finished I desperately wanted more. After that I kept up with the manga all the way up to its finale. Although I understand peoples frustrations with the ending and how it went downhill in their eyes during the final arc and especially the ending, I actually enjoyed it. I still see and acknowledge the flaws and I agree it could've been avoided all together, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

@Thousandths.

For me, personally things went downhill around when Mikey started constantly bringing up "Dark imulsivities". This a while ago but I just didn’t enjoy anything except that girl Takemichi met, Senju? Probably got the name wrong.

Also I despise the anime, for such a good manga (at the time) its quality is mediocre at best.

@torrent3057

8:27 Season 3??? I only knew season 2 came out and never got around to seeing it.. I never even heard that a third season released

@owiec8240

I loved the manga, but last arc was probably the most painful read I ever experienced. Reveal of motives of Tetta Kisaki was cringe enough but nothing prepared me for ending being so bad it completely destroyed my enjoyment of story as a whole

@Testsubjex

I love how it ended and I usually hate when Mamga bring people back from Bs but Takemitchy always said he wants to save everyone and The creator wrote this about his actual friends and his life as a delinquent so Wakui probably lost some of his friends and made some characters to keep them alive in his story so by giving Takemitchy and his friends a happy ending it’s like a like he’s giving his real friends an actual happy ending in another universe as Opposed to other anime that will bring people back or keep them alive for BS or audiences

@RooftopSwordMaster

I want a Spin off like Tokyo Revengers: A Letter from Keisuke Baji but for Mickey and Takemichi's last perfect run.

@KanakoSelling

Baldness Impulses 🗣🔥🔥

@Alexis_XI3

The author should make a spin off or a new manga of Mikey of a “what if the time leap with Takemichy didn’t work” but the powers transferred to him instead of them both going back on time. And Mikey would have to figure out how to travel back in time to the desired time. This would give us more explanation of the time leap powers, dark impulse curse, more action, more story, more potential to make a great manga and Mikey being the mc.

@IsseAhmed-y9o

The manga should have ended at around chapter 200. Kisaki had just got hit by a truck, Takemitchi returned back to the future, and everything was perfect. The whole plot surrounding Mikey’s sister, and that being what caused him to become evil just artificially bloated the story. Everything after that was kinda mid.

@XayLies

I like the ending, it's like the perfect fanservice
"What if Naruto saved Jiraiya"
"What if Bardock succeeded protecting Vegeta"
"What if Shanks arrived earlier at marineford and saved Ace"

well, this is what we get - all of the good stuff, but Takemichi and Mikey are still developed because they have been through the bad timelines and used the experience to make the new timeline better

@czette1

Kodansha rushed the mangas ending, Linden ruined the animation of the impactful scenes from the manga..

@fenamesli9060

I started with the manga when the first season of the was almost finished. And the manga was just about to reach the final arc.
I caught up with the manga in a few days. Thinking back, the final arc was actually really good. The 3 gangs, the two legends and all. But the thing is, the final arc took almost two yeara to finish. The chapters were really short and reading the final arc from the beginning until the end took so long even with one chapter every week without skipping a week.

I thing the anime of the final arc would be really good

@the-anime-bro

I would say that I still like this manga. its not the worst ever but it did have so downfalls.

@natileroxs5226

I've always believed that this ending, similar to the final 2 arcs of Dr Stone, just needed another 20 odd chapters.

I highly disagree with people who say Tenjiku should have been the end. The story is slowly setting up the 'darkness' that Mikey has through the previous arcs, regardless of Kisaki. Kisaki is just manipulating that darkness for his own gains, but it's always been there. And, if Wakui had either left it so that Mikey is still suffering and then had Takemichi just get his regular happy ending, the story would feel incomplete since Takemichi had promised to save Mikey. But if Mikey had been fine after Tenjiku, the character arc would have just been missing.

I wish there were more development for end-game characters. I wish Senju had more development since there are so few important female characters. It's a little disappointing that her character arc falls flat. Hanma deserved at least some importance with how he was being set up, and it's unfortunate that not a lot came of it. The other og black dragons (wakasa, takeomi, benkei) deserved more development and I would have loved for Wakui to delve more into their friendship with Shinichiro and their grief (same with Inupi, who had such a deep love and respect for Shinichiro).

I have no problem with them going back in time in the end, but I wanted to see how they did it, the resolutions between these characters, and how Mikey coped with time-travelling since he'd never done it before. I know there are bits and pieces of chapters written that were never released, which might actually fix the ending in some people's eyes, but there were character arcs I wish had been resolved. Kazutora in the Bonten future being the only one to try helping Takemichi find Mikey was perfect, but I wish we could have gotten some resolution to Kazutora wanting to save Mikey the same way he saved him. I wish we'd gotten more resolution with the Akashi siblings, or with Izana and Mikey in the final timeline. So much would have been fixed if it had longer to expand the ideas.

I think I don't mind the happy ending as much because, firstly, I don't mind happy endings, second, I like that it meant that Takemichi fulfilled his goal to save everyone, and finally, because it seems to be a personal story for Wakui. While he has never publicly admitted to having been in a gang as a teen, he stated in interviews that he used to be a troublemaker/delinquent, and there are photos of him in the gang called Black Emperor. So he seems like almost a personal resolution to the struggles he had when he was younger.

Overall, Tokyo Revengers was always enjoyable to me and, despite its flaws, no one could make me hate the ending.
