Prison Life walked so Jail Break could run. I mostly played Jail Break though since it had way more features and wasn't getting stale as fast. And there was always something you could grind for.

I remember playing Prison Life during the pandemic. I had played a lot before that time, but to me, that was when the hackers really started becoming more common in my servers. Sad to see. Great vid

Finally someone talks about this game! Outside of Jailbreak this was my consistent playgame that accompanied my childhood Roblox landscape. Shame it has gone to the stage as it was today. Next game you should talk about is probably Survive and kill the killers in area 51 by homermafia1, as it has an interesting history. The storytelling you bring in the table is interesting so you get a subscribe!

Prison life is definitely part of my early roblox experience, the hours spent escaping coming back guns blazing, respawning as a cop and camping the criminal base is memories i can never recreate, you just earned yourself a new subscriber mate.

I remember how easy it was to fly helicopters and become a fugitive, it was also really easy to get guns. You could literally abuse it to the point where spawn camping became boring. The older versions had a lit soundtrack though. I remember Coldplay’s hymn for the weekend playing in the background 24/7 as well

I always preferred Redwood Prison. It had more guns. A waaay more interesting and developed prison map. Also honestly the rest of the map being smaller than Prison Life’s outside was for the best. Prison Life’s outside map was large and empty but Redwood’s was to the point. Very often the escaped would come back to the prison and shoot the police up, sometimes they would free the inmates, sometimes they would kill the inmates. The game also looked a helliva lot better and was less prone to hackers than Prison Life too. There’s currently a remake of Redwood Prison so if you like Redwood, try it out!

I am about the same age as you and also played Prison Life in elementary school. I did my best and played fairly but the exploiters always came eventually. Gave up and haven’t touched it in years, surprised it still has a player base of ~500
