If you're a rap fan and didn't grow up during this time, you will never understand how much fun it was listening to these beats for the first time and listening to the word wars. And we had to work hard to find these beats sometimes because they were not played on the radio often and there was no internet.
51 yrs old -- 2024. I was 11yrs old when this came out. This is when I discovered hip-hop/rap. I didn't realize back then that rap would b my favorite genre and I grew up with the best of them!!
This song is so classic. Everything about this song perfect. Every emcee had his own style. They blended perfect.
