The original painting itself gave a lot of emotion but the smear adds a whole other dimension and meaning to it. Art is all about intuition.

The eye not being smeared emphasises personally to me as someone slowly losing themslves. The posture and hand placement which shows the woman holding onto herself is a perfect detail. The red tone to the skin also highlights struggle. (what i perceive the painting as)

I hurts seeing that beautiful hands being destroyed i painted a tiger i added bushes and my inner thought said more bushes and i ended up covering whole body of tiger only head peaking out .... i spent 10 days only on that body and getting it just right just to cover it up😢😢😢 that hand look like it took some Time
