Man this was such a beautiful moment in the battle. Kratos finally becoming the true general, rising above his past, reborn anew...and the game itself coming full circle, from 2018 God Of War telling Atreus to close his heart, to Ragnarök Kratos telling Atreus to open his heart...I played the first God Of War recently and saw how he unhesitatingly killed innocent people, then you see him here telling Atreus to open his heart, and opening his own heart to people's suffering as well... Some people say the ending was rushed, and there wasn't enough bloodshed and fighting. Guess they missed the point of this cutscene. No game has ever managed to make me truly cry. Like, sympathize feel sad sure, but none have made me bawl my eyes out like this game did, and it didn't even have a sad/bitter ending. What a game man what a game.

Out of curiosity, how do you record these songs? Do you just switch off all the audio while playing and just have the music volume up or something? That was my guess

Tbh I don’t really know how they are going to continue the series. Kratos has been redeemed, his arc is complete, there not much else to go with him in an emotionally satisfying way without rehashing the struggles he’s already overcome. I’d be fine if the series ended here, or focused on a new character. Egypt would be cool.
