"Work-life balance” is just a fancy way to say “burn out slower.”
This hit me hard when I wrote it. What do you think?

@ReflectRiser

This video nails it—work-life balance is sold as the dream, The idea of splitting life into neat boxes ignores how messy and interconnected everything is. I love the shift to alignment over balance; it feels more honest and doable

@jle4433

I did a miserable sales job for various woke software companies for 25 years. Yea, I had nice cars and nice vacations, but I had to be high all of the time to blot out the anxiety, anger, and depression. After a mental breakdown I realized that taking a delivery job and an 85% pay cut has been worth every penny.

@psyquotes25

This video spoke to me in ways I can’t even explain. I feel so much more motivated to keep pushing forward.

@ThoughtPartnerss

This video touched something in me I can’t quite put into words.
I feel more inspired than ever to keep moving forward. Thank you.

What’s truly crazy is, once you read book Infinite Money Mastery by Mr Brown, you realize how blinded you were, but it’s never too late. That book has some serious knowledge ...

@barelystressin

Been thinking and discussing this for a little while. 😤

@NukeCult666

As an oilfield truck driver I spend 3/4 to 7/8 more time working than anything other aspect of life ... yeah money is good but it gets old , old , old.

Life has always been harsh. Very few people truly live happy lives. I would guess that for most people it’s usually something like 50% mundane, 40% painful (emotionally or physically) and 10% joyful. But we keep on having babies to roll the dice with their innocent lives.

@RadicalTek

I prepare to enjoy life on unemployment, in the next recession or mass layoff.😊
I moved to NJ to qualify for the $600 max unemployment benefit before the 2008 crash. I completed a Finance degree online.

@lw1343

There are a lot of "balanced lives". People are just greedy or trying to live above their means....then there's the lazy ones. What a high life with little effort. Love those work from home stimulus checks...like people making videos!

@kieranjohnston7550

I remember Kubrick’s movie 2001. At the end, a new being is born, a universal child. But before that can happen, the astronaut Dave has to shut down the electronic monster, Hal, the artificial intelligence that hijacks the space ship with its smooth, seductive voice. I hear that smooth, seductive voice everywhere now. It’s all over you tube.

Speaking of corporate, some people just have a predisposition to be slaves. Emails flood in? Don’t read them. Back to back meetings? Choose what to visit. It’s because one expects an external force (employer) to decide the rules and make them good, not realizing that the only rule is - be good at your profession, understand the root points of your work, the rest won’t be important after that

@frankydanky9772

Perfectlly right my friend...❤

@phaedrussmith1949

I don't think it's finding a balance between life and work, it's finding a balance between your job and your life. Plenty of work is great and can even be fine together as a family. Jobs are an entirely different thing. Jobs are just a form of slavery.
