@Scorpion33721

I'm also a TCG guy too so I'm not only looking at the Big hits, I'm keeping the bulk that could make use in a deck

@colinpoling8011

I don’t complete master sets because I don’t want to waste my time and money finding dozens of random reverses and buying sleeves and binders for hundreds of worthless cards sounds like a nuisance

@jakeblaszak5252

I collected cards when I was a kid in the late 90s and as my son is getting more interested and I'm feeling the nostalgia for the old cards. I've decided to master set the first 3 sets, Base Jungle and Fossil. Just recently finished Jungle since it had the most nostalgic cards for me and still working toward the other sets. At least they don't have reverse holos or secret rares... 😅

@hoodiepink2773

Thank you very much for humbling the Pokémon space we needed this

@thatguy002

People call it a waste of money or gambling. For me its nostalgia, investments, and a way to keep my brain busy. I know almost every single card that i own

@AlycatIsAlive

Sometimes I get confused when people complain about the hit rates in prismatic evolutions, but then I remember that most people aren’t absolutely thrilled about getting another pokeball reverse

@Avruz

Ohhh might start doing this! This sounds fun

@CrazisCorner

I love this!! I do this in a similar fashion but after ripping so much, I forget the reverses and just buy the rest.
I believe most people buy sets for the special cards anyways, but, it's nice knowing I got most of the set, give or take some non-holos, reverses, holos, promos, etc. 🥹

@ImProbablyAutistic_

I think we should let people enjoy Pokemon however they want LOLOL. Not everything’s about the price or cost, while yea Pokemon were designed to be organized, more Pokemon end up discarded no matter what due to people wanting the top hitters (Love birds Latios and Latias, Gen 1 charizard, Prism Umbreon, so on so forth).

You’re better off (speaking from experience) to chase the top hitters or cards you like, than doing a complete master set. And if you have extras? Donate your extras to kids :)!

not even counting how much it’s costs to do a master set, youre 10x more likely to spend more than what that master binder would be worth. It’s a costly hobby, and I wouldn’t suggest doing a master set unless you have the expenses to cover it, or you actually enjoy the set itself.

@DubsackD

I dont worry about making sets. I just like getting a new card to add to my collection binders. I even have german and other foreign cards from back in the day.

@jeremiahmcdonald8587

That’s why I started doing it getting excited for any pull only get from poke machines makes it even more worth it

@TCGBulkKings

You've got the spirit 😂❤

@clone456FTW

I have the sets I wanna do a full collection of and ones Im basically gambling lol. But you're right, it definitely feels good when you want evry card in the set!

@kingbushy45

definition for my master set one of every Pokémon, no matter of reverse or hollow or regular

@willtrimble7214

just because someone has an investment mindset doesn’t mean they don’t love/charish the hobby. A lot of us like to keep valuable cards, not just obsess over every piece of cardboard depicting a fairytale creature

@catboynoi

Ripping is fun but yes the feeling when you put all yhe cards in the binder is unmatched

@isaiahcarrasco5656

Open your eyes man

@felixhernandez2245

Ripping packs because you have a crippling gambling addiction is the way to go 🎉

@FootballtalkwithJake

I used to go on eBay and buy out everyone's master sets but all the extras they had and I ended up completing twilight mascaraed
