Kevin Love is a prime example of making sacrifices to win a championship
People forget how good he was in his prime
Man averaged 26/13/4 one season with great shooting. Kevin Love was great on the Timberwolves
Minny Love was a legit All-NBA caliber player and one of the best bigs in the league. An all-time great rebounder, an efficient scorer out of the post, who could also pass and shoot middies and threes at a good clip. His defense was subpar but he wasn't a liability on that end (at least in an era without today's level of switching and pullup shooting). I remember him, Blake, and LMA as the best PFs in the league around 2012-2014. A lot of people only started watching him in Cleveland after he slimmed down, and playing as a third option took away half his offensive game while highlighting his defensive weaknesses. They never got to see this version of him, his vacuum machine rebounding, full face-up game, or high-post passing. Only the slow-footed spotup big man getting roasted by speedy guards. It's easy to think that he was always that player and not much more. He wasn't. Any Timberwolves fan will tell you that much. I don't think history will be kind to Kevin Love, but at least I know what his peak looked like. The heart and soul of an era in Minnesota, dominating bygone times that will never come back. I miss the guy a lot.
Minnesota Love was just one of the best bigs of the league.
This game wasn’t on local TV in Minneapolis. My roommate and I made a last minute decision to go to the game. Got cheap tickets and snuck down by the court (middle of the week in super cold with two really bad teams). Best random decision I’ve ever made. What a great performance to see live.
I forgot how different a game of basketball looked like even not that long ago...
Those were legit rebounds also. Not cherry picked or gifted by teammates.
One of the most underrated star of NBA
Watch it before he becomes the x factor for miami championship 2023
Wolves K.Love was a different animal, yet the same beast. Such a forgotten Prime.
I didn't knew that Kevin Love was that damn good
I remember this game. This is probably Love's greatest highlight.
Kevin love is so underrated
Michael Beasley's first year in Minny he was really starting to develop into something like we saw at KSU, after that sheesh....dude had all the talent in the world.
Kevin Love was a monster on the boards at that time, it was a pleasure to watch even though Minnesota didn't achieve anything great with that roster. Unfortunately, Love then became a pretty boring three point shooter (like almost every big in the League) as his career went on and on.
Image westbrook and kevin love on the same team, going for free defensive rebound. "finally a worth opponent. Our battle will be legendary"
Classic game Ill performance from K. Love
man basketball looked so much better those days
