I agree with your initial decision to eliminate the Icon. Lots of swings means broken in. If a bat reaches peak performance right at the point of failure, that's extremely negative in my opinion. I could only afford a couple good bats a season, and they had to perform AND be somewhat durable.

Huge respect for letting your better sense of scientific method win with the Icon / Supra. I would say that's about as good of a comparison as you can get. One other cool line of data points to track over time is how these velo's change over time to help track break in / prime / dead expectation windows. Very fun and well made.
