Bro people dont realize how expensive good paper is, I totally get not wanting to waste it. I was in a printmaking course while in college and my professor causally drops on us, “Oh yeah, btw dont be wasteful with the paper, its over $3 A SHEET. A single piece of that paper cost over $3 and we each (about 20 of us) had to used 5-10 sheets per assignment.

I use nail latex that goes around your nails so you don't get polish everywhere and it doesn't tear paper even printer and is generally cheaper

Great job! You're a good sport, but we think the critique was too harsh- the paper has a lot to do with it too! A rubber cement pickup helps het the stubborn bits. Also, make sure to stir in the indexing color (the tint) in the liquid mask- it can stain if the product has separated.

Instead of peeling it off, I use one of those rubber cement erasers aka adhesive remover erasers to rub the masking fluid/ liquid frisket off. It works very well without tearing the paper. Also, ruling pens are really good for getting super fine lines that you want to block off. Hope this helps!

I wouldn’t use this product, purely because masking fluid (which is what this is just branded) is so much cheaper, or you could just buy pure liquid latex

These stuff SMELLS like a vomit inducing kinda smell, this one time someone in my art class spilled this stuff all over a table, the class smelled like that for weeks. Gosh. I will never forget the smell.

I love and hate misket so much for this exact reason. It will ruin paper so fast if you can't afford good, sturdy paper. But it makes watercolor so much easier for me since my hands shake so much 🥲

I use the winsor and newton latex for painting, it works great! It’s on the expensive side, though

1 technique my art teacher recommended as an optional step was to create a seemly border you could take the masking fluid & paint it over the tape & a little along the edge of the tape to prevent bleeding. Not sure if others already know this but if you don't then hope this tip helps
