The light is really the only thing I don’t like about the watch. Other than that it’s…..GOD TIER!!!!

@josezerpa8177

Military personnel wears this watch a lot and appreciate the fact that the light is very dim, since a bright light could easily give them away at night in combat scenarios.

@sweetINFINITY369

I think casio f91w reminds us that life is never perfect it wants us to accept its imperfections and be contented at the end of the day we still be grateful and thankful that it exists.

@manicsforever

I’ve never understood people insisting on complaining about the light. The watch costs £15, is very accurate and you can swim in it!! Plus, the light is more than effective if you’re in conditions dark enough to warrant its use.

@karoshi42

For $15. What is there to hate. The fact it has a backlight at all is fantastic.

@skraegorn7317

The pitiful little light is part of the charm for me 😄

@wildkong2986

The light brings you back to the 80s where these things were a big deal

@nitish92345

The light is so dim that's it's Beauty 🖤💚

@BigBlueGr8ness

Compared to modern LED and electroluminescent backlights, this option isn't a fair comparison, but it still gets the job done. I've never encountered a time when I couldn't see the time in the dark.👍🏻

@simonlaw9234

I must have been wearing these watches for 30 years possibly. I love them too. But in recent times I've noticed that the light is not as good as years ago. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm sure that it once illuminated the whole display clearly. Now it only seems to make the nearest left digit visible. The right side remains invisible. Does anybody else remember it being better once?

@Fenrir_1918

The F105w is the same as the F91w, but has an improved light. Definitely worth it if the dim backlight bothers you

@daveinthemicrowave

The light is poor, but it is still bright enough to read it(although just barely) so its ok

@IVIUT3D

the light is actually fine, the issue is trying to use it when it's not dark enough to need it. I used a 91w in the field for years and the light is fine once it is black out dark and it doesn't throw a lot of light around to be seen by NVGs.

@jasondelauro

I never had a problem with the light, as I don't want to be blasted by a bright light at 2am. This watch would be perfect if not for the lack of a simple countdown timer -- one of the most useful complications of a digital watch.

@fishing-RJ7

Bro no small "u" it's original?
Mere pass hai lekin u nahi hai 😅

@imatoughguy

I've been wearing this watch since 2016. I like to drive at night and trust me the time is easily readable even though the light is dim. Yes you cannot light up a football stadium with it.

@scanman975

Greatest watch ever.

@lyndonyoung8434

Not worried about the light, iconic little watch, wear mine any place any time!

@AdisharynAbigyaAnulal

My legendary Casio F91W ❤

@jasonleetaiwan

Get the one in gold if you want a better light. You can actually read the seconds on it.
