First of all, I won't even compare this movie with its sequels. It is a piece of art. And look at Priyadarshan's great direction, small cue. In the beginning, there 4-5 people carrying the bed, and in the end, vidybalan alone erects it with a single hand. Subtle way of showing such elements comes only from great observations and direction. There are many small small details that make this film a legend! And how science and astrology solves problem at the end, showing that they compliment each other and not just a belief system. And last, what a brilliant film on psychology, and how it can be cured while half of India is still struggling with bhoot badha. Extremely well-made film, with one of the most sensitive subjects...
