The real problem is the he went back in time to make selfish decisions. He knew the bike was dangerous but he let his brother drive it. He knew the other candidate was more qualified, so he sabotaged the papers. He knew his girlfriend didn’t love him, but he still proposed. He should have just thrown away the bike and be done with it.
