honestly I agree with the "red" segment. I really dislike that shade, but some good burgundy? oo la la
no because my mum loves adding red to her outfits she has pictures from the 90s in Paris with red ribbon in her hair or like red shoes. She was the og and I can’t muster the confidence to tell her that it’s a trend on Pinterest because I don’t want to break her heart. Anyways my mum is a fashion icon and has better outfits than me. <3
Yeah i think red is overdone, but mostly its how its styled. The same with the sandwich method. It all feels very zara or h&m. Most of the outfits are so cookie cutter safe that a pop of red feels daring in that scenario. Now if you were to get a pair of red moon boots, (the exact ones you have but in red) and pair it with a giant red striped polo jersey, suddenly the red and the sandwich dont feel boring. It no longer feels like youre doing the trend, it feels like you have style and enjoy the pieces you own. And i think thats my biggest gripe with trends. That people do the trend exactly how its presented to them until it feels stale. Instead of incorporating more red into their wardrobe, everyone bought a cherry red cardigan and matching ballet flats.
Natural fiber > polyester... can't see any flaws with that. I just thrifted a muted red jacket because of the more calm and grounded feeling. I think what goes for any trend micro or major, is that it's a form of creativity and self expression, so when it becomes the norm it's also natural for the mind to seek something new, either in contrast to or growing from what has become stagnant, but when that happens depends a bit on the individual.
YESYES FINALLY I HATE HATE HATE HATE SIMPLE SUPER REALISTIC FRUIT PRINT ON TEES ITS SO SO SO UGLY LIKE THEY JUST GLUED A FRUIT ON LIKE HOW IS THAT CUTE fruit sandals are so cute tho
I absolutely love a pop of red if done right. Like wearing a red necklace or wearing a red belt. But the red is so much nicer if it’s burgundy and not a bright red
You’ve been making me gratefuly aware of the fact that somewhere in the last few years i quit caring for the trends so much. It feels like such a nice progression in adulthood to be like “i wasn’t aware this was a trend”
i love how you layer such baggy shirts, i've always wanted to and you're putting me in such a fall fashion mood its bad for my wallet
Fruit can be so cute though. And if you’re into crochet it’s like granny squares are made for fruit motifs.
Aah,I just love the calm and slow atmosphere,of ur Videos.I feel like on YouTube everything‘s so fast and energetic, but sometimes I just need thissss
love this and also LOVE that Laini gave a shoutout to your last vid on her channel!!!
i’ll forever be a dark cherry red kinda girl, it just really looks gorgeous on me and makes me feel more confident in myself lol 🫶
agree with the football jersey part so much! i love fashion but have bad sensory issues because of my autism and that limits what i can wear a lot.. id love to wear rings and bracelets and baker boy hats but alas i often wear more simple outfits because that's all i can manage
🙌 yess and I think a loafer slide could substitute for a ballet flat (are they called mules idk) the loafers that are backless
good vid! acc very helpful, I am super super effected by trends even tho I try to avoid it 😔😔 heads up, I don’t think the word “Eskimo” is used anyone, just bc the native Inuit groups phased it out. just wanted to let u know, not attacking or anything
„The sandwich method is the pickme girl of the fashion world“. ☝️✨👌🏻🙌🦋
Honestly I love some tiger print or dappled horse sort of print, I hope it comes into the limelight!!
Honestly this year I only bought pieces I personally like and enjoy and don’t try to be someone else and just accepted I have a super basic minimalistic style and so far it’s made everything easier, like picking out my fits and saving me money and I have saved a lot of money. 💖
Ok I love your channel SO MUCH because of all the standard things like how kind and genuine you are, but I also really love how you think of fashion and I think that you have some really wonderful and unique opinions on fashion as a whole. You always have something interesting to stay and I will forever be a huge fan!!
