I actually think Kawhi peaked higher than KD, but not higher than KG. I think Garnett had. Higher peak than KD, KD’s strength was his ability to be a top 3 in the world best scorer in the league level guy for like 12 years strait. Kawhi tops KD at peaks imo.

Um. We sure Durant is over KG? His scoring numbers are lower but Garnett also played his prime in one of the lowest pace/scoring eras ever. Defensively they aren’t even in the same stratosphere. Durant’s got one more ring but yeah we know the story of those.

Call me crazy but I’d rather have kawhi than kd anyday of the week (assuming healthy and playing). I don’t see Kd doing what kawhi did if we switched for 2018-2019. Not making it past 76ers if Durant was their guy on that championship run. Kg should’ve been level 5 for this video

Leonard’s peak beats Durant’s imo. Durant kept losing in the playoffs until he joined a stacked Warriors team (he was VERY good on that Warriors team, I know.) But Leonard was a beast in the post season. He slayed 2 giants, stopping both from 3 peeting. Overall career, I’m still probably taking Durant. But only peaks? Give me the guy with the two much more impressive championships.
