I absolutely adore this song. The madness of fullfilling society's expectations and the love and approval of your father. To avoid a path is to accept another along with the pain it brings. Its a brilliant mirror this song depicts. Where choices aren't actually personal choices as a child, nor purposeful parental guidance, but instead societal coercion that leaves parents and children both victims. The cost is exclusion and ostracization. My favorite artist hands down.

Music means everything to me. Like absolutely paves the ground i walk on. Grew up in a heavy punk fog. Curiosity and necessity spread my interests all around. Some funk some blues some electronic some new wave some experimental you name it. But I always felt a resonation with the minor chords and brutally poetic lyrics. This band is that one in a million that incorporates all of brain poking wishes of what music could be. Damn guys. I love every track I've heard. Its like the doors meets the stooges meets nick cave meets talking heads meets.....
