400-million-year-old native species can now be seen at the Oregon Zoo

The Oregon Zoo is currently housing 25 Pacific lamprey from Willamette Falls, which is the first time any of this specific population has been in human care. This is in collaboration with the Inter-Tribal Fish Commission to learn how to maintain the population. Zach Shoemaker, Oregon Zoo Keeper, will join.
