"That Ribbon of Highway: Stories and Songs of Woody Guthrie" Joel Underwood (he/him) is an actor, teacher, musician, and historian. The holder of a master's degree in American History with a focus on folk and protest music, Underwood is a recipient of the Woody Guthrie Fellowship, and was granted access to the Guthrie Archives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to research Woody’s time in the World War II Merchant Marines. His evening is a mix of song, storytelling, drama, and lecture.
