A visceral force to be reckoned with on stage, Seb Murphy of US-Swedish punk band Viagra Boys is actually a real sweetheart in real life.

We took him to the excellent Stow for a dairy cow steak and a couple of beers, ahead of the band’s show at Victoria Warehouse on 1 May and their new album Viagr Aboys, which has just dropped.

From being jealous of pickled peat bog men to erectile dysfunction, it was the very definition of a wide-ranging chat. And we loved every minute.
