Kratos and Atreus seek the prophetic Fire Giant, Surtr, in his domain. But when they finally find who they seek, they discover one who does not wish to fulfill his purpose but instead be left alone with what his loved one left in his heart. Kratos and Boy then leave the doused fire giant to his own devices, but when Surtr takes a gander at the Blades of Chaos on Kratos’ back, he is convinced he can serve his purpose without putting his beloved Sinmara at risk.
